Rocksteady LabelMy second brew was an attempted tribute to my favourite tipple, Castle Rock’s awesome Harvest Pale.

I wasn’t aiming to replicate the recipe, it was more a case of trying to emulate the look, feel and taste of the beer rather than carbon-copy the ingredients.

In a way, this is my favourite brew of all that I’ve done… it was light, hoppy and dry, and didn’t last long over the few brief weeks of sunshine we had in summer 2014.

I may revisit this one someday, in the same way I rebooted Badfish, but for my second brew, I was really happy with how this one came off.

As with almost all of my beers, music was the inspiration behind the name (and the label)…
